I’m Kadé. I’m not a professional photographer, and BY KADÉ didn’t begin as a photography project. It grew from something I’ve apparently been doing for years — noticing.

A building worn by time. Words painted on a wall. A doorway left open. Light falling somewhere just right. The way a place feels between the landmarks.

I travel, but this isn’t really about travel. Travel simply gives me unfamiliar places to look at. What interests me is what happens when I slow down long enough to see what I might otherwise have passed.
